Loved the comfort, the pool, and the relaxing atmosphere. Each room has an outdoor table and chairs on a little patio. My dog also had a great time as they, along with the surrounding vicinity, is very pet friendly. The room temperatures are extremely comfortable and are chilled with evaporative coolers, which feel so much better than a/c! The pool was sparkling clean and we mingled with other friendly guests, many of them hotel regular visitors. Jason, the co-owner, is most helpful and knowledgeable, and a wonderful host!

Overall the Old Ranch was a great place to stay for the weekend. It is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and things to see. Driving your car though wasn't bad either since there is plenty of public parking. There were 8 suites I believe and all were occupied when we were there. The only amenities I used were the Pool and Ice Maker and it was great. The little patio at the back of the suite was great too. Parking is provided and it's first come first served. Although there were at least 8 parking you may end up parking on the street if it's full.

Lovely gracious host, peaceful setting. Love that the rooms open to the pool courtyard so it is intimate and encourages social interaction with guests but yet the rooms afford plenty of privacy. Everyone is respectful of the desire for quiet. Other guests also indicated how much they enjoyed it. Exceptional. Jason at the reception is so kind and so great at what he does. I'm a huge hotel chain fan boy, but Old Ranch Inn really converged me. Though we paid above the average nightly rate for the Coachella weekend, we couldn't be more satisfied. Here's a few things we loved: 1) hotel's immaculate condition -- everything is so well attended for, albeit somewhat outdated. But that's the charm of palm springs that old ranch brought out so well 2) atmosphere: so quiet and peaceful, quiet hour after 10pm. 3) clean pool that's maintained every morning by a cute little robot cleaner 4) being able to text live and ask! 5) walking into the room and finding giant homegrown grapefruits from the old ranch'a own orchard. 6) giant rooms, ample parking, books to read and all the other amenities like bikes to check out town at arm's length
