A note from Wendy Kapp- Owner of Two Casitas Santa Fe Vacation Rentals Having been raised in Chicago, my soul longed for the massive blue skies and mountains I first saw when my mother, well-known watercolor artist Phyllis Kapp of Waxlander Gallery, introduced me to this magnificent area when I was 6 years old. While returning west in 1975, I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico once again. I found the people here, especially back in '75, to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. With courage, hardship and determination the ancestors of our cities tri-cultural people all traveled up the Historic Old Santa Fe Trail making our unique city the place it is today. Now you can stay in this lovely Southwest-style home right off this famous trail with all the comforts of modern living. The elegant design gives light and beauty to this spacious 1,100 square foot casa. Architectural elegance is obvious when you enter with its high ceilings, double French doors opening onto two private completely enclosed patios adding to the sophisticated ambiance of this home and safety of this pet friendly home. The bedroom has a king bed, and there is a comfortable sleeper sofa in the living room, which is also equipped with a flat screen TV. There is a full kitchen and a lovely round antique table in the dinning room. A kiva fireplace, vigas, bath with shower and tub featuring Mexican tiles, brick and floors are some of the homes other features. For those of you with sophisticated taste, yet still enjoying the flavor and details of the Old West, I highly recommend Casa Old Santa Fe Trail with only a 15 minute walk to the end of the trail where the famed Plaza is (.8 miles).
