So many special touches - enough bath hooks for wet towels, enough Keurig coffee pods for our stay, bathroom amenities, plenty of towels. Just perfect.

Company info

Painted Lady Bed & Brew officially opened on August 3, 2018, International Beer Day - A day to celebrate all things beer. Painted Lady Bed & Brew is the first establishment in Albuquerque to secure a New Mexico state bed & breakfast liquor license. The establishment was a true labor of love that was inspired by the idea that beer brings people together. That is the underlying basis and hope for the property: to bring people from all walks of life together over a beer. Given beer’s “every man” image, one that relies on themes of community and commonality, it’s a product that has the potential to feel particularly welcoming and available. It fosters feelings of togetherness in its ability to bond people socially.

Property info

A twist on the traditional B&B concept, Painted Lady Bed & Brew is the first of its kind in New Mexico and one of only a handful of such unique establishments in the country. Built in 1881 as a brothel and saloon with "wine room in connection," the property has quite the colorful past. Tales of buried money, hidden rooms, and Billy the Kid are all waiting inside. Enjoy local craft beer daily from the storied grounds of a 19th century former brothel and saloon. A unique spot for history fans and beer enthusiasts. The Lady was completely overhauled in 2015 with the hopes of bringing people together over a beer. The property is centrally located and just 1-mile from the Historic Old Town Plaza, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Downtown ABQ and 13 production breweries and distilleries. Cheers!

Neighborhood info

The Bed & Brew is located in the Historic Wells Park Neighborhood. The neighborhood and surrounding area is home to 6 production breweries and two distilleries. Each brewery is within walking or biking distance of the Bed & Brew. Most of the breweries are dog and kid-friendly. Some of the top-rated restaurants in the city are mere moments away. Check out a wealth of locally-owned neighborhood establishments that are a short walk, bike or car ride away. The Bed & Brew is also walking distance to the Old Town Plaza, Museum Row, Avanyu Plaza, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, future Sawmill Market and Downtown business and entertainment district. It is also minutes away from the Big I interchange of I-25 and I-40.
