The hotel pool area is very comforting and was the main reason I booked this hotel. The main hotel lobby had carts ready to use and a nice waiting area. Plenty of access to vending and ice machines as well on the property.

We had a room 136 it had a kitchenette - basic but great. The bedding and cleanliness was amazing. The Hotel is over 100 years old, so while there are updates there are still some very unique elements. Parking was great and we had in and out privileges. Location is really great. They are right next to Metro Market too if you are staying for a period of time. The Hop is down the street as well as the Bus routes. We didn't visit the Cafe but it looked wonderful.

The hotel staff were very helpful in every way. The accommodations were wonderful. There was only one problem. Because of the winter storm, the sidewalks were not cleared enough for safety. Timing of the storm was likely the problem. Otherwise we were very pleased with our stay.

Rude hotel staff. Barley spoke to us.
Rude hotel staff. Barley spoke to us. Man had a bad attitude. Room reeked like cigar. Rooms and hallways are dirty and disgusting. It looks like all they do is make the bed and restock toilet paper. Front desk staff was unprofessional and speaking about another guest when I came to the desk. I stood there dor a minute looking at them and listening before I was greeted. Unfriendly staff.

I had the best dining experience at Carson's Barbecue and Grill. Great food and place to eat! I had taken a tour of the city, I was amazed by the parks, they are so beautiful and well kept. The city is very clean, and I love the architecture, the culture, the people. I really enjoyed my stays at Milwaukee. Also, getting around the city was really easy, you can walk to everything, I had the best time at the Gotham museum. This is the place I definitely want to retire. I am thinking about returning this winter.

Love the history of the Brewery District. Best Place and Pabst Brewery tour are great- They now offer a waling tour of the Pabst Brewery area. Maders and HofBrau are great places. Milwaukee Public Market and surrounding shops and restaurants make for a fun Sunday! Best to park in a ramp and walk around that area.

In Milwaukee, people are generally friendly, businesses professional and pleasant (though panhandlers seem to hang outside the parking lot by the Hyatt in the morning, between 6 and 7 a.m.!).
Really enjoyed DOC's Commerce Smokehouse had excellent brisket, pulled pork, burnt ends, chicken pot pie soup, collard greens, broccoli salad, and Bacardi baked beans. Don't eat alone - each meal can easily serve two!
Breakfast a George Webb is not a health food affair, but I love that they will a coffee thermos to go without raising an eyebrow.
King and I has a respectable offering of traditional Thai dishes. The tom kha soup was exceptional, though the panang curry was so salty I had to thin it out with more rice than usual to enjoy it. Authentic atmosphere.
I've had to work at two conventions over this summer at the Baird (formerly Wisconsin) Center this summer and the construction is a pain, but the venue is decent.

Didn't like much, they actually charged my card upon check in, the outside of Bldg needs to be painted, lobby need updating and clean. Rooms all linen, towels and curtains was dirty and stained, carpet need to be replaced, fridge had fowl smell.
At first glance this seems like it would be a really great hotel, we may have just caught them on a busy weekend /rough time. It's downtown and just a short walk from a lot of useful places including Baird and a few good restaurants. The staff was mostly nice just not knowledgeable and unable to answer basic questions. The hotel itself is "nice", just not exceptional relative to the price point. The lobby area is under construction at the moment, but I didnt mind that part.
Emma, the desk clerk was outstanding. After a rather unrestful first night, Emma moved us to the 4th floor, where we didn't have to listen to the "elephant" in the room above us. Nice hotel--built on the cheap--trussed floors which let the sound from the room above make for an unpleasant stay. Rent a room on the 4th/top floor. Then the place is great.
Exercise room was very nice with good equipment.
My entire experience at Kinn was amazing. The location was central and we spent our morning walking around the Historic Third Ward quite easily. The common area was well stocked with a Nespresso, tea, cereal, and a variety of milks! The complimentary wine on arrival and fresh pastries in the morning were delicious. I would definitely stay at Kinn the next time I’m in Milwaukee.
This was the nicest/cleanest hotel I have stayed at in years. From the valets, who literally ran everywhere and made sure we were well taken care of, to the housekeeper who we encountered in the hall taking a couple of minutes to make sure we had everything we needed, this place was just amazing and we will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Milwaukee
The room had a king bed, the room was clean and large I was happy with the size, the bar was nice bartender did a good job mixing our drinks, Connie at the front desk was very helpful with directions for places in the city, and the hotel has a shuttle van that takes you anywhere in the downtown area. Connie always had a smile was friendly and helpful.
Very well located hotel. Walking distance to the lake, river and third ward. Lovely art deco period building and common areas. Rooms are newly refurbished and contain full kitchenettes. Comfortable beds. Staff friendly and will make recommendations for your visit.
The apartment was in a great area with everything I needed close by, shopping, great restaurants, close to downtown milwaukee with everything great to offer, the apartment was very clean and comfortable also offering a outdoor patio porch and a washer and dryer
What an amazing, historical building! Very cool that it has been transformed into a hotel. The photography on the walls of the public areas is evocative of the Milwaukee of generations past. Also, just a block from the impressive food market.
Definitely a nice hotel for the money. Cheap compared to a lot of others in the area. Very nice pool area if you have younger kids. Bed was very comfortable, room was spacious, staff was friendly. Absolutely no major complaints.
Gorgeous building with a cool retro vibe. The staff is amazing. The best front desk welcome I have ever received. Down to Earth nice people! Amazing location near the lake, downtown, third ward, and tons of great restaurants.
great design and intriguing operating model. sort of a hostel for adults. fantastic shares public areas with graciously scaled private bedrooms and baths. right downtown and walkable to many destinations.
Location close to intermodal station and bus stop from the airport. Also close to Third Ward and the Food Market which was pretty cool.
Rooms are okay, you know what to expect from chain hotels.
Location was great for walking downtown to explore. The hotel was clean and modern and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!
The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Great location downtown and loved that we didn't have to worry about finding parking!
