Your hosts Barbara and Heinrich are from Germany and try to bring some old world charm to Texas. And that includes a rich, hearty German breakfast every morning.

Property info

Embedded in a nice garden setting, the cottages Rapunzel, Rumpelstilzchen, Schneewittchen and Aschenputtel are reminders of old Germanic dwellings from the early middle ages. In each cottage, you'll find a cozy living room, a kitchen, bathroom and bedroom and another bedroom in the loft. An old spinning wheel in the loft of Rumpelstilzchen challenges you to explore this ancient art. A collection of fascinating fairy paintings created by the hostess greets you in Rapunzel. You can relax at the pond, feed the goldfish and listen to the frogs chanting to the sound of the waterfall. Sip a glass of wine on the small patio in front of the cottages or on the big patio next to the main house. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit in the back of the property by the creek or in the gorgeous fireplace at the big patio.

Neighborhood info

With 15 wineries within a three miles radius this is the perfect starting point for your wine tour. Upon returning you'll realize, you are close enough to Luckenbach to hear their concerts.
