Outdoor experience with son and grandkids was great, hiking up a somewhat steep and rugged hill. Barbeque/ smoores, swapping stories, wrapped in blankets, for it gets cold in the hills! Bring extra blankets and jackets!

It was a quiet retreat. Plenty of wildlife on property.
It was a quiet retreat. Plenty of wildlife on property. Loved the families of wild deer near the pond. Some good birding but we were not on property much during the daylight. We saw Western Jays, Cardinals, Doves and woodpeckers on property.

A short drive to Kerrville and Bandera for shops and dinning...
A short drive to Kerrville and Bandera for shops and dinning. This resort is very relaxing and beautiful. Lots to do on the property. Hiking, fishing and swimming with hotel like accomidations. Fresh clean linens, mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, cable tv and wifi. Will definitely be back!
