Even though it's downtown in a big city, it was easy to navigate there, especially from the north - just come straight down 35E to Wacouta and take a right on Kellogg. The valet parking was super convenient and easy for first timers. Staff were very polite. Soaps smelled great. Beds were comfortable. Great view of the river. Made up for the lack of a pool with a very nice fitness center. Very nice extra, "courtesy" bathrooms on the 1st floor. Easy walk to Xcel Energy Center, restaurants, and breweries.

Room was clean ..felt very secure .close to the venue.
Easy to get around the city. Streets are well signed and traffic did not seem to be too congested. We visited the St. Paul Grill at the St. Paul hotel and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service.
The hotel is an historic building with the charm of the early 20th century hotels. Excellent ambience for a world class meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We really enjoyed making a walking tour around the historic downtown buildings. We also went up to Dayton's Bluff to view the city and park area. The historic homes around that area are really fun to see as well.
We also spent a lot of time walking around Union Station. Such an amazing landmark. We ate breakfast at The Buttered Tin. Delicious!

The staff were people of color and the manger was black.
The staff were people of color and the manger was black. For the area it's was actually very well kept. I love you see my people in lead position. Bathroom was nasty but everything has at least one shortcoming.

attended Wild hockey game and everything there was excellent. Very courteous employees. Beautiful city with good restaurant choices. Easy to get around.
The Skywalk was a bit unnerving as about 5 minutes into our walk from hotel towards Xcel Energy Center, we encountered several "loiterers" enjoying their drugs, goofing around, partially blocking walkways. There was very little walking traffic and no sort of security that we saw. After 5 minutes we exited the Skywalk and walked the streets. This took place on a Saturday late morning and might be totally different on a weekday

Within walking distance to the hotel was a lovely park with an unexpected Thursday night concert. Food trucks, beer area and live music. Wonderful for a summer evening. Saint Paul Summit Street has lovely mansions and takes you by the Basilica. A nice laid back city.

There is so much to see & do in the twin cities .... Because of the pandemic there were restrictions but public transportation posted changes and both the train and bus are affordable and frequent I just wish I had some one to help with which bus I needed to catch & what time they run & wish bus & train tickets enterchanged
Location can be good verging on great depending on what you’re doing in Saint Paul. With its relatively easy access off the interstate and parking facility, getting in and out can be a breeze. Most of what first time visitors to the Twin Cities want to see can be reached in 20 minutes or less. There are many places to eat nearby depending on cuisine and your tolerance for walking. The staff were all uniformly friendly and helpful.
Everything was very clean, the breakfast was delicious and changed each day while keeping all the classics! I really loved everything about my stay here but the absolute best thing is the staff!! Brenda especially went out of her way to help us with everything and make sure everything went smoothly. She is the best receptionist I’ve ever chatted with at a hotel, and I travel a lot!
Will definitely be coming back
Room was great! Bathroom small, but very well maintained and clean. Breakfast came with room, always a plus! We took the hotel shuttle to the concert at Xcel Energy Center. There was no additional charge and the driver was excellent, both dropping off and picking up. Ended the night with other concert-goers in Peddlers Pub. An all-around wonderful and relaxing experience!!
We basically had a one bedroom 2 bath apartment for less than any other hotels I found. It was cozy and homey. The gym was huge and well-stocked. The common area and lobby were very nice. Having a full kitchen made eating simple and cheap.
I liked the bar staff being friendly and VERY ACCOMMODATING about my drink.
MY STANDING SHOWER w /RAILS.... LOVE IT..!!! I AM HANDICAPPED AND YOUR HOTEL FROM TOP TO BOTTOM!! HAD EVERYTHING..
Very clean, great location and onsite parking included! The included breakfast was good and the hotel was very quiet. It was nice there was a fridge in the room as well with good storage.
The pool area was clean and nobody else was there. It was bright with beautiful natural light and it was clean. The staff were great and virtually had the entire hotel to myself
I like that that there were some rooms with bigger bathrooms. Also, I like the fact that there were a lot of food area near the hotel, didn’t have to travel far.
