United States of AmericaThe complimentary access to a washer and dryer is great. No need to take dirty clothes home with you. The exercise room is pretty nice as well. Each of the treadmills and bike had a t.v. with cable access to watch as you exercised. Even had a little free weight area. HEB is literally around the corner and Walmart is one exit away, if you forgot anything at home.

The room I reserved was with double queens and it had a small kitchen as well, though I had no idea that the room came with a small kitchen. I liked the toiletries available. I liked that there were 2 TVs, one in the family area and the other in the bedroom. I also liked that the kitchen had plates and cups and other necessary items to reheat food and eat there. I liked that after requesting housekeeping the night before, they did come and made our beds and everything else. I liked the friendliness of the front desk supervisor during the daytime. They do tell you this when you check in, that you must give them 24 hour notice if you want housekeeping to come to your room. So, I just asked for it right there and then. I did check with the front office in the morning to make sure that the lady who was there when we arrived, had made that note.
United States of AmericaWe always stay on this side of town because the hotels around the parks (Seaworld, Fiesta TX) tend to be a little messy. We like this property because of the kitchenette and thoughtful items they include such as a full size coffee pot w/complimentary coffee packets, full size fridge with ice maker, two burner stove with cookware (though it is minimal), dish soap w/sponge... I could go on and on. My wife thought the bed was comfortable and my daughter liked the pull-out sofa. The breakfast was better than the typical waffle maker breakfast you find at the other places. We've stayed at a comparably priced hotel across the freeway and it wasn't as good as this one.
