The South Shore Inn had a great outdoor pool that the kids enjoyed along with a basketball hoop, swings, a hammock to relax in and charcoal grills if you wanted to cook. The entire stay was very relaxing, especially after a long day visiting Cedar Point which is only minutes away. The whole staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything you would need. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a nice, clean and family oriented environment that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!
United States of AmericaLocation close to cedar point and lots of restaurants. Safe & was amazing! Everything was clean. Pool was open past midnight. Kids had more fun there then Kalahari. Nice for the kids to have a pool that they can jump in, and use the pool slides. Lots of tables and chairs around the pool. Basic basketball hoop so if it’s your thing bring a basketball. Grab your liquor before arriving too 10 minutes to drive to a party store. Would be real fun to go back with a group of family friends.

United States of AmericaClean, quite, pool area was nice and centrally located. We would go back. The included breakfast was a nice touch for an independent hotel. All staff was welcoming and helpful. Seems nice for kids too.

Definitely a family place, and a great spot to stay if you're main goal is to rest and head out to the water, then enjoy a dip in the pool when returning. It's a quick drive to the ports/docks, beaches, and around the corner from cedar point. Definitely a no frills, relaxed place to stay. Will definitely be back!
