Excellent place to stay, fantastic friendly owners

The building has a lot of history and character and the rooms are big. We had a mini-suite with a large kitchen and a balcony. You can rent bikes too. The property is close to the Southernmost point and we walked everywhere (20 mins for the centre). The host is very friendly and helpful, made us feel at home.

    The pool that is private to our Hemingway Suite is clothing optional.

  • Is there a shuttle available to get to the closest beach nearby? What are the other transportation options?
    A shuttle is not required since the beach is only a three-minute walk for our Inn. We have bicycles for rent on our property as well. MoPed and golf cart rental companies provide easy pickup and drop services.

    As detailed on our site we offer complimentary breakfast bars, key lime cookies, nuts, fruit snacks, dark chocolates, cold waters, coffee & tea in every suite & fresh Florida grapefruits & oranges. We do not offer airfare packages.

  • what is a partial refund. we wanna stay but we worry about the unknowns and you don't offer free cancelation
    Cancel > 30days before check-in we return 96% of deposit to cover our costs. If < 30days we keep deposit. If within 7 days we charge full amount. If we re-rent the room we return 100%. If Covid related we give you 100% credit for a future booking.

Our friendly experienced local staff & hosts, former Ohioians Mark & Gail, are proud to present Suite Dreams Inn by the beach as your Key West home away from home.  Mark spent 22 years with the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland & other banks, many years teaching college business courses, and owns an Ohio aquatic company.  Gail is an Ohio Realtor and medical researcher. We operated guesthouses in Ohio for medical students & on the beach in Cape Cod. Since we met at North Coast Single Sailing we dreamed of Key West. After a 5 year search and our children leaving our nest, we cashed in our chips on our Key West dream. We still enjoy sailing, tropical weather & we both have musical backgrounds. KeyWest is filled with natural & un-natural wonders. Outstanding galleries & live theater, world class fishing & diving await you, or just relax on our beaches. Our island culture, history, numerous festivals & architecture are enchanting. Dinning, dancing & music venues abound. Our fresh local seafood is the best in the world.
