The grounds were beautiful and well kept, even in mid-Nov. The lodge was cozy with friendly staff and a nice gathering area that had a real crackling fire for ambience. The drinks were tasty. The quad room, king and 2 twins in loft, was priced well. The fireplace kept us warm and comfortable all night. The bed sheets and pillows were amazing, soft and smooth. My continual calls with questions were answered quickly by Joy, who was wonderful. We reserved another visit in February.

We stayed at the Lodge. Room was very nice although no one mentioned there was an elevator - which we discovered later - to get the luggage upstairs. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting on the deck and relaxing. Our hike around the lake was also scenic and fun. The food at the Lodge was excellent. Internet and Wi-Fi was out during our short stay, which was just fine with us! We would definitely like to come back for a longer visit.

    All of our rooms include a private bathroom except for our rustic cabins, which use a communal bathroom and shower.

  • What if you are allergic to animals
    Unfortunately, our entire property is pet friendly. Depending on the severity of your allergy, you may be okay. However, pets are allowed on all areas of the premise.

  • Are the rooms air conditioned?
    Our Lodge rooms are not air conditioned; however, they do have a pretty powerful ceiling fan. In addition, the Lodge is generally fairly cool compared to outside due to shade provided by surrounding trees and the building's insulation.
