It was quiet . The night sky was AWESOME. Liked there was no TV. We spent evening sitting outside watching sunset and went to hang out at the pool.
United States of America16 miles up (from Terlingua) and 13 miles over into the desert, you will find yourself in a quiet valley between two mountains. Expect to see all sorts of wildlife (hang around the pool at dusk for a parade of swallows and bats) and don't be surprised when the javelina herd marches past your cabin in the early evening. The reasonably-priced meals at the on-premises Bad Rabbit cafe are simple but enjoyable, made more enjoyable by an engaged and thoughtful staff. And do you want to see stars? You'll see stars.

United States of AmericaThe location, whilst far from everything, is really cool once you get there. The property has a pool which was really nice, especially after hiking in big bend. We also were able to get a permit to drive up Christmas Mountains right next to the property.

The chwck in staff was awesome and the folks working at the restaurant were top notch. All super friendly. The room was better than expected. Great wood interior, comfy beds, amazing sunrise and sunset views.
