Location and that it was an historic building. Clean quiet and spacious
United KingdomFabulous location; very central and super easy to get around. Old interesting building but nicely renovated. lots of restaurant options around every corner.
South AfricaCosy, quite old-fashioned place, good for a short stay. The room was quite small, with surprisingly spacious bathroom. Close to the White House and the National Mall.
PolandExcellent location - great price, can walk everywhere. Rooms aren't huge but are comfortable and exposed brick is nice. Louvred windows are handy and space-saving: possibly could have done with more wardrobe space but it's a great hotel and I'd stay here again, despite there being no bar or restaurant: you don't need one because it's near everything. .

SpainRoom was a good size and shower was brilliant. Refreshments in the lounge area were good and it was close to all major attractions.

AustraliaFull of character and charm, the hotel is centrally located a short walk from the metro. The building is old but the rooms are up to date with a big comfy bed and modern bathroom.
