Very clean. Well kept property in a gorgeous setting. Community showers / restrooms were kept clean and provided extra precautions in this new COVID19 environment, which is appreciated. It was so nice to not have the distractions of electronics as there was no cell service, TVs or Wifi. The large firepit provided a great time to visit and tell stories around the fire.

Perfect location! It's close to trail heads and some country general stores. Only about 40min from Steamboat Springs. The paved roads are very nice. The cabin was very cozy and had all necessities. The shower house was very clean.

These cabins were everything we could ask for quiet locations, wood burning stove, clean bathrooms, and close to hikes/fishing. Getting to the location was easy and amazing getaway from the city life.

Property info

Relax and unplug in one of our fourteen rustic log cabins nestled among the aspens in the historic mining town of Columbine, Colorado. The town, on the National Register of Historic Places, features an impressive lodge and modern shower house, an inviting wood-fired sauna, an authentic General Store, and plenty of tall tales to share around the campfire. Rent the whole town including the well-stocked commercial kitchen for weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats, and special group events; or just rent a cabin for a quiet romantic getaway. Due to our remote location there is no cellular service or WiFi available on the property. We have a land line telephone on the front of the General Store that can be used to make local or calling card long distance calls. Cellular service is available about 3 miles south of Columbine on County Road 129.

Neighborhood info

Located at the base of Hahn’s Peak in northern Routt County Colorado, we’re near the Routt National Forest, Steamboat Lake, Pearl Lake, Hahn’s Peak Lake and the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness. Hundreds of miles of trails for year round activities are right out your doorstep.
