Hello! We are Carolyn and Tom Calfee, owners of The Casita del Lago. We are parents to three awesome kids who are now young adults. We love hiking, skiing, running, taking motorcycle rides, and we both just got certified in scuba diving. We found the most beautiful spot on planet earth back in 2010 - we couldn’t believe land surrounded by a lake, a river, million-year-old red rocks, and Pedernal was for sale. We purchased our land that very night. Eventually we built The Casita del Lago on the lakefront property. We treasure the stillness, the silence, the remoteness. The land is inspirational, and adventurous.
