Luke is an educated nutritionist and runs a commercial website, Scrap the Scale, helping people identify and address dietary issues to improve health through blood and mineral testing and assessments. He also works as a bookkeeper and tax preparer. With so many irons in the fire he is usually available via text or phone call should have any questions or need help with something. He loves the little community here at the house and will occasionally host a barbecue with a fire for everyone to enjoy and get to know each other. He has a rescue mutt that is part pit bull, 10 years old and loves people and being petted. She is a rescue and is not good with other pets but will buddy up to anyone who pets her and gives her food. Winter and summer are very different at this property but there is plenty to enjoy about the property and its location within the city and any time of year.

An original house of Greeley, CO. built in 1889. A simple farm house; converted to a duplex and later to a triplex. The house is a bit rough; industrial neighborhood on the edge of downtown Greeley, its a very unique location. Gritty Industrial setting bordering the train tracks, the train whistle is loud, yet we are also secluded from everything. It is a very peaceful property. The largest apartment has 5 furnished rooms to let and accommodates traveling professionals who are here for several months working or those new to Colorado. The kitchen and bathroom are shared in every room/booking except for the Modern Basement Apartment which has its own kitchen and bathroom. Everyone here is respectful, friendly and quiet. Downtown Greeley is a 5 min walk to get something to eat, drink, or see live music shows. Just blocks from UNC there are 16 bars & Restaurants near this location. BBQ and relax in the hammock out back, visit the Farmer's Market on Saturdays- 3 blocks away. It’s a great location.

Neighboring buildings include Distortions who were on the Travel Channel for about 3 years Making Monsters, a schools intramurals fields, a tax accountant and the old Ice House building. I often lay out in the hammock and just relax. In the evenings you can hear a band practicing in a nearby building. There is a large Model Train Museum 2 blocks away, lots of urban art on buildings downtown and local art galleries, several coffee shops and markets. A few miles away is the Poudre River Trail that connects Greeley to Windsor and Windsor to Fort Collins. I have a bike to lend if you ever want to ride the trail. In the opposite direction from Downtown is the University of Northern Colorado with some great local business and unique places to eat. Sandwiched between Downtown and the University is great. The Cache La Poudre is 3 blocks away and the intersection of Highway 85 and Highway 34 is about a mile off. It truly is a great location.
