The staff were beyond polite and very welcoming. It made my first time visiting Vermont that much more special!!!

My fiance stayed here because of a sudden weather change and he was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. He video chatted me the whole hotel because he loved the historic decor and charm. He ordered from the on site restaurant and said the food was delicious. It was spotlessly clean and the room was very comfortable. They really go above and beyond here, he left his Sweatshirt by mistake and they are mailing it to him! Just wonderful!

The breakfast buffet was very nice..set up country style with Christmas decorations…. Eggs, sausage and bacon,.. fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, yogurts.. it was perfect.. the servers always friendly and hospitable.. we loved our stay at the Norwich Inn..

Our room, a King suite, was fantastic and there was soooo much room! And it was a room worthy of more than just a, "Once over." There is an outbuilding, across from the entrance to the bar, that contains a covered porch with 6-8 rocking chairs with tables in between them. Those tables contain ashtrays. I enjoy the occasional cigar and it was awesome after a long day of exploring to sit back, have a lovely beverage and light up a stick...while rocking back and forth!

Such a charming place to stay! Loved everything about this place - breakfast was great, but cocktails in the evening were even better! This is what you think of when you are looking the for quintessential New England Inn. Very friendly service and the beds were SO comfortable!

Room with # of beds booked on booking.com were not what we received.. .ie. we asked for two queen beds and got one king and a rather uncomfortable "fold out"

Breakfast was lovely...nice fruit, hot eggs and bacon..wonderful service

The breakfast was great as was the special brunch arranged by Ms. Parsons. We liked our room although it was a bit bigger than we needed and the climb to the third floor was a bit much for my 80 year old body.

Breakfast was ample and very reasonably priced. The dining area was socially-distanced and very comfortable. The front desk lady helped to provide us with some plates and a knife for a light in-room meal one evening.

Excellent experience. A little expensive, but we would visit again. I especially liked the history and the attached restaurant. Very friendly staff and felt safe and comfortable.
