My family loves coming to Estes Park. Being in the mountains and enjoying the snow and all the Elk. We love smokin Dave's BBQ. Plenty of shops and the owner's are very friendly. We will keep coming back.

My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather...
My son and I were in Estes Park in February and the weather was sunny, yet cold and quite windy. There was an almost 20 degree Farenheit temperature difference when coming from Denver. The drive from Denver to Estes Park is an awesome experience in itself. From Lyon, you start to drive up on a windy road surrounded by mountains on both sides. It goes from 5000ft to 7500ft. The drive is very beautiful and once you climbed up Rt. 36, you start to descend just a bit and then, you come around a curve and there lays, in a valley, Estes Park with a beautiful lake, surrounded by snow tipped mountains. Estes Park is a small town with a main street, lots of unique stores, a unique looking movie theater, and many restaurants. There is a Safeway and Dollar Tree and I don't think that there are any other grocery stores there. Estes Park is also very close to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park and the home of the famous "Stanley" Hotel, which was used in the movie "The Shining". We also drove around in the surrounding area and found a few great roads that lead to parks and trails. I have truly enjoyed my 4 day stay in Estes Park and hope to be back soon.

Off-season, a great mountain town next to the Rocky Mountains. Enough stuff to do and keep busy for our trip! Ate at Rock Inn, Casa Colina and Hunters Chop House, all fun places. Getting around was pretty easy off-season, though there's a large parking lot near the entrance of Elkorn street.

Estes Park is a great little town with quick easy access to the RMNP area wildlife, views and hiking trails.
Estes has a cute downtown area with plenty of shops and places to eat. (I highly recommend You Need Pie!)
I have visited during different seasons, which are all great, but this was our first Christmas and it was truly amazing and will be back for another Christmas!

Estes Park is a popular tourist destination next to Rocky...
Estes Park is a popular tourist destination next to Rocky Mountain National Park, RMNP, in north central Colorado. It is in a stunning location. The downtown is quite touristy and in the summer, parking is difficult but doable. Estes Park is a destination in itself but surrounded by a larger destination- RMNP. In one day we saw mountain goats, deer and a herd of elk. The elk winter in Estes Park itself. The animals are magnificent but also a bit troublesome for the residents. But what a problem to have.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was great; no complaints there. The lobby was nice and we actually hung out in the lobby one night as they had board games available to guest and an outdoor seating area. Overall I do recommend this place as a stay in Estes park and location was great; but did feel that cost per night was excessive. Evidently hotel books out months in advance over the summer so that is probably why.
Everything. We usually stayed at hotels. This was our first B&B experience and it was just great! Much better than hotel stay. Chester, Lil and Rudy were the best hosts. The breakfasts were mentioned in all the previous reviews, and yes they were very right. You can’t get better breakfasts that what we had in Sonnenhof B&B. Highly recommend this place it you are coming to Rocky Mountain National spark.
The location is perfect, nearby to Estes Park town center, with a view of the mountains. The people who work here are really nice, and the breakfast was actually really good. The room was very comfortable, and convenient to have the car right in front. There were deer hanging out nearby in the morning. It was very relaxing to stay here and so convenient for the Rocky Mountain National Park.
The location was great! A short drive to Estes Park. The best part were the incredible views from anywhere in the house!!
The house was very well supplied with soap, paper products and linens! The kitchen also had everything needed! The beds were OK but everything else superb! There was great living space upstairs and in the lower level with great decks and patios!
The location was perfect. We love Estes Park and visit there often. We always enjoy staying on Fall River where this property is located. It is a beautiful property where wildlife roam, outside of the main town. A very peaceful setting.
This is not a hotel/motel, it is individual cabins, so one has to enjoy the cabin feel, which we do.
It was quiet and quaint, and such a pleasure to stay at! Todd was an excellent host, and he made the experience more welcoming. We loved the room and the service that was offered and even showed us the best ways to get around estes park and how to do the activities we had planned.
Nice cabin-like hotel, location cannot be beat. Close to everything! 2 miles from entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, 2 miles from downtown Estes Park, shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, entertainment. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, area was safe and secure.
Lovely one-room cabin in a quiet area of Estes Park. The hosts are super helpful and friendly, the bed is very comfortable and it was great to have a soak in the jacuzzi after hiking! Loved watching elk and hummingbirds right outside the cabin!! Hope to be back soon!!
The WorldMark Estes Park feels like a home away from home where you literally can do your own cooking, etc. No disturbances and staff is easy to reach and very helpful. The grounds are in beautiful surroundings which only heightens your feeling of relaxation.
Loved the location. It was VERY close to an entrance to the amazing Rocky Mountain NP and to Estes Park, CO where we could buy groceries and go out to eat/shop. The accommodation itself was spacious with a nice kitchen, very comfortable.
Everything was absolutely beautiful!!! We will definitely be back on our visits to Colorado. Best place we ever stayed from warm welcome, immaculate conditions, beautiful scenery and perfect location for everything!!!!
I was previously staying at the Estes park review but the beds were so uncomfortable I had to change hotels. The quality in did not
Disappoint! Clean and comfortable. Pretty decent breakfast (included in price).
One of the few pet friendly hotels in Estes. Convenient location for nearby activities. Comfortable beds. Great staff and service, excellent and timely communication.
Old school motel in a great location. Not a luxurious hotel, but if you want to spend all your time in RMNP and just have a place to crash, this place is great.
