Palm Springs is a lovely place, with mild climate, beautiful flowers and lush manicured hedges. Very clean streets, which are nice and wide. Palm Springs is an easy city to drive around in. Straight forward roads laid out on a grid. The downtown area is lively with unique shops and a multitude of good restaurants. Close to natural areas and parks such as Indian Canyons and Joshua Tree National Park.

Palm Springs is visually stunning.
Palm Springs is visually stunning. Nearly everywhere I looked there was beauty. Whether the mountains that dominate the horizon or the MCM architecture of the town, my eyes were happy. I enjoyed hiking in the high desert (Joshua Tree is an easy drive through scenic country) and just outside of downtown (several trails). We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Booze Hounds one evening and a satisfying breakfast a Four Paws.

Palm Springs is an excellent destination for travelers...
Palm Springs is an excellent destination for travelers residing in the Los Angeles Area. With just a couple of hours' drive, you can reach this desert oasis with its eclectic vibes and neon lights that provide a surreal and almost otherworldly experience. There are many diverse restaurants to choose from, including Greek, Mexican, Italian, Fusion, and Modern Japanese. The weather is warm and pleasant throughout the year, especially during the California rainy season, and it's almost always sunny in Palm Springs. I recently traveled there for the President's Day weekend and enjoyed sunbathing and strolling around downtown at night.

This place has sentimental value to me for its MCM architecture and hollywood connections. The airport is great, the museum is great and there are good, fun restaurants. If I golfed or played tennis, this could be heaven. I enjoy pool lounging, hikes and eating. Sunnylands and botanical gardens are special treats.

We wanted to get away from the cold.
We wanted to get away from the cold. Palm Springs wasn’t balmy but it was much milder than back home in Nebraska.
The golf courses are plentiful and in good condition.
Many opportunities to do a variety of activities- golf, hiking, shopping.
The tram is a must taking people up over 8,000 feet
Great views
Joshua Tree National Park is less than an hour away.
We are Parrotheads (Jimmy Buffett fans) and so went for the ambiance and decor -- and we got both in spades. The hotel rooms and public spaces were clean and airy, a little retro (it's the old Palm Springs Riviera Hotel) and were filled with tropical and nautical decor. It was just lovely and fun. The restaurants on site served great food (including maybe the best fish tacos we've ever had) and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful in a really noticeable way.
We were welcomed by the nicest team with a fresh glass of rosé. The hotel is so peaceful and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the attention to detail, everything is well thought of. The room was large and beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The pool area is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a fresh drink. We enjoyed our breakfast: fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, croissants. All around it was a perfect week-end in Palm Springs. Thank you !
The hotel is in a great location in Palm Springs.
It's old school and the effort and friendliness of staff was outstanding. Every evening candles were lit around the courtyard. Music carefully chosen and staff working away planting things and making it all look good. The pool was lovely to have and there is constant access to a little kitchen. From one side of the pool you could see the desert mountains. We really enjoyed our stay... the perfect choice!
It is a great decently priced option in Palm Springs with a fun retro vibe! The location is great and the free cruiser bikes on site make it really easy to explore the other parts of downtown. The bed was super comfortable and we slept so well both days. The pool area - complete with friendly hummingbirds was a delight. We also enjoyed Monday night Bingo at the Ace hotel across the street.
Check-in process was really smooth and the receptionist was great to deal with. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The view of the pool was great. Parking being included was a major plus. There is a nice market in the hotel to grab essentials from. The location cannot be beaten - a short walk to the center of Palm Springs beside great restaurants and bars.
I am in love with this boutique hotel. Had my first days off for a long time and wanted to escape LA weather. The large pool, luxury bungalow and lots of space made me feel like home in Palm Springs. Very clean and stylish relaxing resort. Super sweet staff. And I loved the mini-golf course next to the pool and stargazing in the Jacuzzi. Even had a private kitchen!
Absolutely loved everything about this newly renovated hotel! It nails the retro-chic vibes of Palm Springs with just the right modern touches, from the design to the fabulous pool experience and everything in between. The in-house restaurant, Minerva's, is a gem – great food and atmosphere. Definitely found my new go-to spot in Palm Springs!
This is a nice and clean budget hotel if you do not wish to stay in downtown Palm Springs. The staff are very nice and helpful. The outdoor pool is large and clean but water did not appear to be heated. There is a nice diner in the area of the hotel, excellent for breakfast and lunch. Another diner is about 5-minute walk away.
Perfect location, warm pool, spa like feel to the hotel. The owners took great care in remodeling this mid-century hotel.
I can't say enough about this boutique mid-century hotel. This is my new go-to place in Palm Springs to stay.
Did I mention that the owners are on site for anything that you need.
I booked the Ace Hotel because it hosts the "hub" for DesertX2021, and it has availability for the weekend I want to travel to Palm Springs. The location (in South Palm Springs) is fine, I like that it's a bit removed from the main downtown area. Having on-site Testa charging is also a plus.
The hotel is really gorgeous, very zen vibes and clearly looked after well.
The pool and hot tub are fantastic, lovely to have towels and cold water available too.
The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and large bathroom.
We'd definitely stay here again if we return to Palm Springs
Very nice contemporary modern design and great location that’s not too far from restaurants. They even offer great complimentary snacks and drinks in every room. One of the newest boutique hotels to open in Palm Springs and the design was great and plenty of seating and gathering areas.
I enjoyed everything about this property, the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the decor, the heated pool, mini golf and overall positive atmosphere. They were prompt with their responses and made us feel comfortable. This will be my new go to hotel spot in Palm Springs..
There was no breakfast at this hotel but there were locations for food and coffee within walking distance. Set to the back drop of the magnificent San Jacinto mountains in Palm Springs, I very much enjoyed my stay here. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff:-)
Pool is beautiful. Enough chair with great music.
Pool staff are excellent.
Our room was the best. Pool view. The hotel lobby is one of the best. Perfect for gathering with friends before heading out to lunch, night club...etc
Airbnb model, with a great stylish hotel with great pool. No nosy staff, but easy check-in, good security. Great location in Palm Springs. Chill, fun vibe with a great DJ on Saturday, but the music wasn't too loud. Loved it all.
The grounds of this hotel are absolutely beautiful! It is truly a lush hidden oasis amongst Palm Springs. Although the rooms are fairly dated and a little dark we still had a great stay and would highly recommend.
Absolute gem of a hotel! small and boutique and very inkeeping with the Palm Springs style. it’s only just opened but I’ll be recommending this to everyone. the pool is heated too!
Everything, It was clean, It was cozy, Personel was super nice. Location is a little bit far from centre but it was really nice walk from the hotel to the centre of Palm Springs.
