This place is unique - it's not traditional & has a lot of awesome quirks. The decor is off-beat & fun, we called it "wonderfully weird". It was perfect for us, but might not be perfect for everyone. Overall though, the entire space is so COMFORTABLE & has been cultivated with thought & care. We'll be back.

Yucca Valley is a unique city with many small stores around the area that have a variety of different items such as antiques and thrift stores.
This area is also great for nature walks/hikes. And make sure you check out Pioneer Town and eat at Pappy & Harriets.

We stayed in the hotel in the city of Yucca Valley which was a longer drive to the Joshua Tree park. In the future I would stay in the city of Twenty Nine Palms which is closer to the entrance to the park.

We took a nature hike in a Nature Preserve (can't recall the name) with the great-grand-kids in Morongo Valley, just south of Yucca Valley. On our way home we drove through Joshua Tree National Forest & did one of the shorter hikes (to the old dam). It's a must do for those who haven't driven through the forest. Yucca Valley is a very pretty & clean town. We encountered no pan-handlers at the intersections! That was very nice!! I'll give a shout out for the Mexican restaurant, La Casita Nueva, just a couple buildings down from the Super 8 motel. Great food & bar for cocktails.

Great area that is close to all that Joshua Tree has to offer. We went to visit Pioneer town and to see a show at Pappys and Harriet's. This hotel is very close to everything we came to see. There is also a breakfast spot right off the main highway that was really good and close to our stay. I believe it was C & J Cafe.

Rooms were clean and reception was very accommodating.
Rooms were clean and reception was very accommodating. When I booked it advertised a balcony room with mountain views, but when I git there I was on the ground floor. I kindly asked and they upgraded the room! Awesome family run hotel.
We found this eclectic gem located in Yucca Valley, CA. The host, Carol was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. She was very helpful in getting an additional night’s reservation, which was extremely helpful. Carol went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. Casa Morada, a 3-bedroom (pet friendly) residence space was very clean and had all of the necessities (Air Conditioning, Kitchen, Wi-Fi, large flat screen TV) for a two night stay,.July 21, 23, 2023.
What a gem in Yucca Valley near Joshua Tree national Park! The house was brand new and very spacious, lovely hot showers, tastefully designed and decorated, comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen with everything that we needed. The hot tub was also fantastic
Host was extremely responsive, would highly recommend to anyone.
Lots of cute shops in the area
House was also great with the heating which was adjustable
This was such a well maintained place in Yucca valley, very close to Joshua Park. The interiors captured some of the very intricate aspects of native tribes of Americas, a fitting tribute to their culture and art. The rooms were very spacious and well ventilated. The kitchen had all equipments for cooking. Perfect to enjoy star gazing as well.
Nice staff, let us check in early, hotel had ice machine, room was decent size, simply decorated. But very good value for the super cheap price we paid. AC worked well, fridge was good size. Nice pic of Joshua tree above the bed. Provided coffee in the morning (no breakfast as per covid restrictions). Free parking.
A cozy, safe, comfortable and warm motel that welcomed my friends and I on our trip to Joshua Tree. It is easy to find, right off the main road in Yucca Valley. If you want more of a lively village, stay closer to the gate or in 29 Palms, but this was a nice location for drivers.
The location was fine. It was near everything I needed and not too close to neighbors. Guests should be advised, however, that many places in Yucca Valley are very hard to find in the dark, and this was no exception.
Towels were very plentiful and of good quality.
Affordable Hotel located in the cute town of Yucca Valley.
There is a big supermarket right in front of the building, a few minutes away, together with other food chains and restaurants.
The room was very clean and the staff nice and welcoming, always smiling.
The staff is great and the service was exceptional. I’ve been in 3-Star hotels that were not as good. The space is well kept - might not be the most modern, but well kept. The front desk helped with everything we needed. Overall great value for the price you pay.
The house was as clean as a 4-star hotel. It was especially convenient as it had 3 toilets and 2 bathtubs, and the bed sheets were clean. It is 15 minutes away from Joshua Tree National Park West entrance and close to McDonald's and the supermarket.
For two people the unit the unit is good. For three it is hard. And the location can not be beat for everything we did in the mountains-Yucca Valley to 29 Palms. And the owner was very helpful and has someone onsite who can help.
Beautiful home in a lovely quiet neighborhood, super close to everything in Yucca Valley! Everything is super clean and comfortable. The yard was great for my dog to run around in. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!
very clean, comfortable. better than any hotel in the area, but all of hotels in the are gross. so, I shouldn’t compare them to this place. The home is very greeting when you open the door. I enjoyed my stay!
Great private location. House was set up nicely and I so appreciated it being pet friendly!!..so much so that they offered a doggy bed, doggy bowls, dog biscuits, and even a Kong doggy chewy toy!!!
We used the hotel during Coachella 2023, very large rooms, despite the age of time very comfortable, good quality wifi, clean room, cleaned daily, and very friendly and helpful staff.
We had an amazing check-in thanks to the employee of the hotel. Very friendly ! The room was big and clean. Plenty of possibilities to eat around the hotel.
I loved that the hotel was adjacent to Kimi sushi. Best yellowtail sushi I’ve ever had! Room was clean, beds comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot.
Perfect starting point for Joshua Tree Nationalpark. Some restaurants nearby. Breakfast was very basic but good enough. Parking lot right at the hotel.
