This spot is perfect for anyone visiting Indian Wells to watch tennis! It was a great home base for our group, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and hang out. While we didn't get to take full advantage of the backyard, the hot tub was a nice bonus after a long day of watching tennis. The hosts are lovely to interact with, and even helped us out late at night when we were having difficulty with the front door. A+, will definitely be booking again for our next Indian Wells trip!

    The house was wonderful - it was extremely well appointed...

    The house was wonderful - it was extremely well appointed with cutlery & crockery for inside and outside eating. There were lots of pots, pans, utensils, glasses, etc for serving big crowds. The linen was of high standard and beds very comfortable. I would bring your own corkscrew/waiters's friend - the one provided was useless and the electric one questionable. For non-American visitors - most local wine is corked and not screw top. The pool & hot tub were perfect - heating worth the cost! We had to get someone out to explain how to heat pool & spa as it seems they can't run concurrently. No written instructions...perhaps something to provide next time? I cannot praise the Vacasa Team enough for their impressive service and assistance - we had a few small problems and someone was on site within 4 hours - very impressive. We would come again. Thank you! PS Pre-order your sourdough bread from Joe The Sourdough Man - fabulous home made bread, delivered to your door - joe@joessourdough.com. He's a star!

    Indio had everything we could wish for, from shops and restaurants to sporting facilities but particularly, a wonderful climate, with very little rain and lovely warm sunny days - we are retiring and intend spending as much time there as possible.

    Indio is close to several other desert cities.

    Indio is close to several other desert cities. It is somewhat poorer but has some fine places. One can stay there and save some money while being rfelatively close to the other towns in the area. IOn frecent years Indio has been improving. But the Super 8 seems to be deteriorating.

    Although there is not much to do in Indio itself it is not...

    Although there is not much to do in Indio itself it is not too far a drive from lots of places to see in Southern California. About an hour drive to Joshua Tree National Park, 30 minutes away from Palm Springs, and about 2-2.5 hours north of Anaheim/Los Angeles. My biggest complaint about the area would be food as 85% of the restaurants are all tacos of some sort or national fast food chain like McDonalds. You would have to drive to Palm Springs to get more of a variety like Italian cuisine. If you are looking for close by shopping that is a 10-15 minute drive to La Quinta, which is a beautiful area too. There are a few casinos too in Palm Desert and Palm Springs too if you don't mind traveling.

    Nice area, clean city.

    Nice area, clean city. Small local town, I went to Palm Springs most days of my trip which was less than a 20 minute commute, but the restaurants around Indio were good...especially Sloans. If you are coming for Coachella, this is a great location since it is so close by. Scenic views with the mountains was a bonus, sunsets were so pretty with the mountains. There are casinos nearby too for night time fun.

    The location was very central.

    The location was very central. The unit we stayed in was a little dated, could use some newer living room furniture. Some of the kitchen cupboards were very worn and needed replacement. The grounds where we'll kept. The golf course needed work. The tee off boxes where not well marked at all. The fair ways where very poorly maintained.

    We really appreciated Sonja, the lifeguard and staff member. She went above and beyond in honouring our wedding anniversary with a gift basket. She also gave us restaurant recommendations and local areas of interest. Very relational and welcoming. As well, Denise at the front desk, and relief at the pool, was very friendly, gracious, and attentive to us. Angel was very kind in helping us with our luggage when we left. We LOVED the lazy river! We liked the convenience of the store/deli.
