“The premises are amazing, the true star of the stay. Amidst a beautiful forest with giant trees. The walks around the camping grounds and to the restaurant are beautiful. Just take the car out of the driveway and your nearby all the main sights of Big Sur, Pfeiffer beach, Big Sur Bakery, hiking spots etc.”

“Absolutely stunning property. Surrounded by redwoods with incredible views of the coast. Very peaceful. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. Close to the best hikes in Big Sur.”

“Amazing breakfasts and meals. Location fantastic! Literally 10 minutes from the (unmarked) turn off to Pfeiffer Beach (no signs by the road, but definitely a must see!) and minutes from other state parks with waterfalls. I suggest getting a forest view room looking out over redwoods. The ocean view rooms are more expensive, but the coast/ocean fog makes the ocean views a bit less than vivid. The large double hammocks on the very private room decks are very comfortable! Stargazing from the infinity hot tub by one of the pools was pretty fantastic too. Be aware - California State Parks there do NOT allow dogs (though we saw what might have been service? dogs in some parks). Pfeiffer Beach does allow dogs.”
