The room had 2 beds, tv, refrigerator and a desk. The toilet and shower were separate from the sink. This was a nice size room for 2 people. The location was perfect for shopping, dining and the wharf.

it’s a beautiful old hotel with old architecture charm. the old skeleton room keys still displayed behind the front desk, valet parking on site which was quite reasonable, the food in the restaurant was delicious! the staff in the kitchen allowed me to stay and wait for my wife who was getting a massage in the spa, even while they had to set up for lunch. it may seem like a small thing, but the coffee they serve is rich and delicious and we are total coffee snobs! my wife got a very relaxing massage at the spa. this place is phenomenal and I highly recommend it. it’s right in the middle of old Newport with all the beautiful old houses from the late 1700’s and 1800’s. simply beautiful!

Loved look and feel of hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Worked with us regarding our reason for visit and needing later check out. Only gave score of 8 because we only stayes for short time and would ha e liked to stay longer. Valet service excellent. Front desk excellent. Room very good and bar staff. For what we utilized rate a 10.

Everyone was so friendly , check in was easy and we were given an upgrade on our room because we were celebrating our anniversary. The lobby was beautiful, our room was charming , clean and cozy. The hotel also sent us a bottle of champagne. The bed was super comfortable. We just loved everything about our stay. This will be our hotel every time we visit Newport from now on

Opened in 1926, this historic Newport hotel is 5 minutes’ walk to Thames Street and is less than 1 miles from the Cliff Walk to the city’s historic mansions. There is an on-site spa.
