Proximity to the pier and walking distance to the beach. Once two service techs came by to get the hot tub working, we enjoyed it. It's in a quiet area.

Liked breakfast restaurants near north end, Rod and Reel for dinner, Starfish wharf restaurant Cortez, Skinny’s for burgers Liked Daqueri Deck Bar happy hour! Only disappointment for food was Sandbar restaurant! We rented golf cart but would recommend car. Liked local artist jewelry and shops especially Charms! Did not use trolley! Loved hiking beaches in mornings!

We had a great stay in Anna Maria.

We had a great stay in Anna Maria. We stayed near the main business street (Pine Ave) so we were within walking distance of many places to eat, drink and shop. There is a free trolley that you can take to explore the rest of the island. Plenty of places to rent bikes, golf carts, kayaks, scooters etc. Biking around the island is very easy as it flat and has well marked bike lanes. The beach is very clean and a perfect place to watch sunset over the Gulf.

Anna Maria Island is quiet and has lovely beaches.

Anna Maria Island is quiet and has lovely beaches. However, taxes, fees and charges added 50% to the original quoted rental price. This included a 12% tax (not specified, but presumably includes 6% state sales tax and ?local tax), 10.08% destination fee(?local tax), 6.27% tourism fee and a 20.6% property service charge (in addition to the cleaning fee). In my view this makes the original quoted rental charge misleading. Some of the taxes and some of the charges appear to overlap, so I consider this to be abuse of the customer. January weather in Florida is not always that great.

Location was great. Room was BAD.

Location was great. Room was BAD. Stepped in water that puddled next to my bed after rain storm. No local management to help. Ceiling water damage and water damage very obvious but they tried to make it quaint by painting not fixing the problem. Toilet lid yucky- worn down to the wood and no way to sanitize bare wood on a toilet seat!!! Privacy compromised because Sunrise is too cheap to replace door blinds that have huge gaps and too narrow to cover glass plane doors. Really, for over $270.00 a night! Shame on them. Sofa had huge gaps and embedded stains. Old dirty silverware. Outside gardens were great, but you cannot eat and sleep outside! Still arguing with them about deceptive price practices- advertised for $ 89.00 and $127.00 a night, but charged me $477.99 for the privilege of staying in an old run down apartment.

We loved the island and all it had to offer! Wish we could have stayed longer! AMI Charters for fishing & snorkeling. Minnie’s and Ginny & Jane’s for Breakfast Pizza Social & Popo’s & Waterfront for dinner Dips and Two Scoops for desert. Stayed on Spring Street- we really didn’t need a car the whole time we were there.

Looks like September is the time to do it. So quiet!

Looks like September is the time to do it. So quiet! So peaceful! Water was warm and still. Dolphins we’re jumping by the pier. Pelicans we’re fishing, sand pipers we’re poking at the waters edge…overall aesthetics to die for! Sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. Easy access to shopping and other beaches. Walking access to many places for our stay. The Waterfront restaurant was amazing, right down the street. Indoor and outdoor seating was available and the food was delicious! Ambiance was great. The little place to eat out on the pier was walking distance and the food was also delicious! Great portions! Accessible and on the water. Seating on the dock was limited but we took ours back to the beach and ate in our lounge chairs at the waters edge. There were little boutiques (we availed ourselves of the sale racks and shopped for souvenirs. There was coffee, ice cream, and clothing shops and a post office. Everything else we drove to; other beaches, Publix supermarkets, various other restaurants, and stores.

Fabulous position a few hundred metres walk from a beautiful white sandy beach. Comfortable home and a secure setting for a young family. The home included all major appliances you would expect like a washing machine, a good oven, ice maker etc. Very clean & lots of bathroom & pool towels etc. Shaded pool area and the pool was heated sufficiently and had lots of pool accessories like blow up seats etc. The property had items that could be taken to the beach like foldaway chairs, buckets & spades etc.

Beautiful home. Two separate units, both self contained but as there was 7 of us we used both the upstairs and downstairs units. Beautifully appointed, airy, large accommodation. The beach is literally minutes walk away and is stunning. Pool/garden has a salt water pool & hot tub, lovely relaxing area. This home is airy and light and the furnishings appear new. Hope to return soon.

location was fantastic! The beach was a few minutes walk away and despite being so close to the very popular Rod and Reel restaurant, it was quiet. We ate in a few times and the kitchen was well kitted out. All towels, including beach towels were provided which was great.

CUTEST little place for me and my husband. It was just enough space for us to be cuddled up and also enjoy all the island had to offer for us during our stay. I am a fan of this place due to its location and cleanliness. VERY clean.

Location was great in Anna Maria. Pool was the biggest draw. 2 TV could not get on, did call but said to forget it as we only 2 nights over 1600 for lease for 2 days was rather unheard of.
