St Pete is awesome.
St Pete is awesome. Downtown has so many restaurants and unique shops to visit. And walking the St. Pete Pier was delightful. So much to do and everything is so close. Went to a concert at Mahaffey Theatre.

Downtown area was vibrant and upscale.
Downtown area was vibrant and upscale. We enjoyed sitting at an outdoor cafe eating gelato and listening to an outdoor performer singing classic American songs. We took in a trip to an interesting museum. We walked a bit. We felt quite safe.Although this trip to St Petersburg was rather short we have been there before and we’ll return again.

I have a business in St.
I have a business in St. Petersburg and love the atmosphere and people and their effort to make it into a destination city as well as their old beachfronts. Living part-time in central Florida the traffic in St. Pete is stupendous. Coming from New York City, there is "no traffic" here at all. That added to my stay as well as the great weather, super tennis at Bartlett Park, great restaurants, and interesting small airport nearby did.

We live in Tampa, and came across the bay for a Staycation.
We live in Tampa, and came across the bay for a Staycation. While in St. Pete we visited the Enchant Christmas event being held at Tropicana Field. Parking is sometimes scarce and expensive in St Pete, so the location of the Hollander Hotel and the free parking it offers were quite welcome.
It is an easy four-block walk down to the restaurants, shops, and museums along Beach Drive and they even offer a shuttle if you need it. St Pete also offers a trolley that loops around downtown and takes you down to the Dali Museum / Mahaffey Theater area.
This was our second stay at the hotel, and we will stay again in the future.... the 2024 Major League Baseball season will be here soon, and the Hollander Hotel makes a great base of operations for your visit.
Loved the old hotel including the squeaky old-fashioned bed which was very comfortable. I found a very convenient parking garage just a block away on Central Ave which was distinguishable and easy to find and remember. The waterfront a couple of blocks away had cute shops and some eating ideas as well as Central, which is the main street through St. Pete. All in all, despite some rain, the stay was wonderful.
Came for the Reggae Rise up concert at Vinoy Park..I loved that the hotel provided a shuttle to and from the festival at the park..the driver was on time going and returning..the breakfast was really good..a variety of cereals and teas and also the coffee is served all day..Loved that every location of the hotel had a nook or nice patio to chill...also the lobby area had a pool table and shuffle board..
The place was really good for the price. The location was also great, close to the historic center of St. Petersburg. It was not far away from the beach either, around 25 mins by car. The place also has everything we needed. A small kitchen and bathroom are attached. The only downside, I would say, is it was a little bit small for two people, but nothing unmanageable for a couple of nights.
It was very comfortable and relaxing, within close proximity to the best spots in St. Petersburg, and in a friendly neighborhood. The option for a later check-out (with a reasonable fee) was highly appreciated, as it afforded us the extra time we needed to clean and put away everything.
The location was perfect. The staff was friendly especially Ms. Vanessa at the front counter. She was the sweetest ever. Made check in a breeze. We drove to St. Petersburg to visit my husband’s uncle and aunt . We were on vacation in Orlando and drove down for a couple of days!
The hotel was fine for my quick visit in St. Petersburg. The staff was friendly & welcoming & the room was spacious. Traveled to town to catch a Rays game & was pleased by how close the stadium was to the hotel.
Hosts were very friendly, accommodating, and
helpful. Jayson and Reymond had many suggestions for restaurants and sights to help with our visit to St. Petersburg.
Location was good with ample parking.
This hotel has a lot of charm. It's location makes accessing tourist spots around St Petersburg quite easy. The breakfast far exceeds what one would expect from a hotel in this price range.
the breakfast was great and when i am the st petersburg i really enjoy this hotel we come because we have go all childern hositpal for my daughter we really like it here
The staff went above and beyond to create a nice and relaxing stay. The location is absolutely perfect, being in the middle of downtown St. Petersburg was amazing.
