We were there for my husband's memorial service in a nearby church. So, we didn't do much sightseeing. However, the whole area, once you get away from the motel/restaurant area, is very pretty. I would like to come back and just spend some time there.

Proximity to the Asheville airport was important as I had a 7:20am flight back home. The location allows for easy access to Asheville without being in the midst of what are often congested roads. Also, access to areas north of Asheville are easier because you can access roads that bypass the most congested parts of the downtown area. The prices for the same hotels tend to be less expensive here than in Asheville, at least for my trip this weekend.

We love this place. I use to live here. It was great taking my young family here and visiting Chimney Rock, Looking Glass Falls and Sliding Rock in Brevard. I love this place. Don't forget to head over to Sierra Nevada for a refreshing IPA and soap made from their IPAs! Or why you are in Brevard stop over at Oskar. Their Red IPA and food truck is worth the extra 5 minute detour. LOVE IT!

The room we were in was nice, my only complaint is that the hotel is getting to be a little dated, there were some spots on the walls from other guest and on the ceiling (not sure how they got there). The mirror in our bathroom was cracked and they looked like they took tape to it to fix it. We would have liked to have our room cleaned while we were there, we had to go ask for clean towels.GinaUnited States of America

The front desk officer was kind enough to arrange a room for us at a sister hotel ( the Clarion) that had some clean rooms and could still take in guest even though they had no water. All at the same price, they even arranged a shuttle to take us to the new hotel. We appreciate this proactiveness. Both hotels were close to the airport too.JaneIreland

Jorge helped us get checked in and since the locations laundry room was not in service, he called a sister hotel for us and we were able to go over there to do it. On our check out day, we were greeted by a warm, smiling face and I believe her name was Janelle(?). She also called the shuttle service for us as we were heading to the airport, super sweet lady. If we ever visit the area again, we'll likely stay here thanks to those two lovelies.MUnited States of America

The hotel shuttle stops service at 11:50pm so I asked for late night options and Juan, manning the front desk, suggested the airport car lot shuttle which delivers customers right next door. This plan worked brilliantly as Mr. Mamadou, the friendly airport shuttle driver, delivered me right to the hotel door on that rainy night. This is a clean and quiet hotel with many options for breakfast.

The first room assigned smelled like Clorox, it was so bad it made us gag and cough. The second room was a non-smoking room, but had been smoked it. It had a strong smell of stale tobacco. We left after 3 hours, couldn’t take it anymore. I do not recommend this hotel ever, at all.

It's the second time I've used this hotel. Makes for a much more relaxing start to a long vacation and eliminates the need for family members to get up to drive us to the airport for early flights.
