Riverwalk was why I booked it, and because the kitchen

The hotel is about 100 years old but has been updated. The interior walls are intriguing. There is an elevator. I must caution you about the rooms with the spiral staircase. The stais are steep and many. If you are fit, you'll be rewarded with a balcony!

Our concierge, Jose Garcia, made our #60 anniversary reservations for dinner at the Tower of Americas and saw to our every need while we were there including any and all directions to the city attractions.
United States of AmericaMarcus welcomed us on day 1 and was very quick in dropping off the beddings for the sofa bed. Even Irene on the next day was very helpful as well. The staff were just so nice. Pretty close to the Riverwalk.
