“It is a good place. Very close to bus terminal which was the main reason I took it and served me well, with bus stops nearby to access Pocitos, Ciudad viejo and La rambla also! Rooms were clean, staff was good. Nice place overall!”

“The hostel was very big and a great place to stay if you are heading straight to the airport the next day though I would recommend getting an uber rather than a pick up as it will save you a lot of money. Shower was fine”

“I was here just as the country was going to lockdown. I was extremely stressed and could barely think. The staff were helpful and this hostel didn’t add to my stress, in fact it kept me calm. It was unbelievably cheap which helped a little as ending travels was a huge money loss for me after paying so much to get to South America. There were even 2 boys who were vegan which was amazing in a continent so much less aware! One even took me to the bus stop, which is 10per cent of the cost of uber to the airport. Shame I never got to go to their friends vegan restaurant. The staff were so kind. I was in constant panic and tried calling. Katherina the main lady at reception let me even use her mobile. Such a kind beautiful person. The hostel was such a relief amongst such a distracted. So comfortable and clean and only met wonderful people here. “I checked into one of their double ensuite rooms as a treat for the last 2 days in Uruguay, so I cannot say what the dorms are like. The room was enormous, secure and even had an ante room and sofa. The room (#302) contained a double bed and a single and was very clean and comfortable. On the 5th floor (rooftop) is a grill setup and is a great spot for the views, hanging up washing and a cold beer.” Read more
