Super location, amazing host, nice house. I enjoyed my stay in Furkat house a lot. If you want to feel the spirit of Samarkand it is your option.

Location was excellent, a few minutes walk to The Registan and other sites. There was lots of nice food to eat at breakfast. The owner was very friendly and helpful, he sorted out a taxi to the train station . There was a kettle and cups in our room . Lots of hot water for a shower.

Amazing friendly staff which always happy to help. Very centralised location to local attractions. Accommodation itself stored old fashioned Soveit Union atmosphere. Very big breakfast with variety of choices. I was staying for 3 nights in Samarkand with my 17th years old daughter, she was impressed too. Thanks a lot, I felt like came back to my childhood with a lot of memories.

I was new to Smarkand and I had an urgent meeting - the chief of staff was great to help me get a taxi to my conference and the next day to get me to the autostation. The atmosphere of this guest house had a homey charm and comfort. The breakfast was remarkable - ample enough for a hard day working in the corn fields, too much for sitting around most of the day. :-). I would gladly return !

Loved the cozy inner yard with tapchans to drink complimentary tea and play backgammon on provided boards. The room had authentic decorations and thick warm blankets. A short walk to Registan and to the market, less than 10 minutes each. At check-out we were offered some apples and a melon for the road — all for free.

This place is like a big house and it's such a beautiful family atmosphere! I stayed in many hotels around the world but I never had breakfast that I ate so much and I didn't feel sick or got a stomachach. Breakfast was amazing! Local food, fruit, domestic jam, yogurt... Amazing! I traveled with my 72 year old dad and he was so impressed and happy with such warm hospitality!
