If you are traveling to Uzbekistan and have enough time, do go to Ruslan stay. It turned out to be the best part of our trip. Nurata is a beautiful city surrounded by mountains. We took three days package to cover camping at Aydar Lake, Desert, Mountain Hiking and visiting a local village. Ruslan and his family are very nice and friendly. We have had a lovely meals. Highly recommended!

The whole family run this hotel with only 3 rooms in Nurota and prepare the food, which is delicious. The owner Ruslan runs tours locally that are good fun, I did the day to the lake and half day walking in the mountains. Come here if you want to see a bit of rural isolated Uzbekistan and see how local people live, away from the tourist bubble of the main sites. Ruslan is very helpful and arranged our transfers from Bukhara and to Samarkand

Guest House Ruslan is run by a hospitable and friendly local family. It is located very close to Alexander The Great's fortress in Nurata. Breakfast is excellent and it would be better to plan to also have lunch/dinner there if you sleep there (you'll get asked multiple times). They also sell beautiful handmade suzanis at a very good price. We took a guided tour in the Nurata Mountains (Hayat to Asraf) with Ruslan, which was nice. Little note, if you plan to pay in soms, ask for the current exchange rate in advance to prepare the amount accordingly. Ruslan is very business-oriented and we wish him the best in his future projects in the area.

Location is great, right inside old town and close to Nurata Chashma and Nur fortress. Both dinner and breakfast were tasty (aubergine salad was exceptional!). Rooms are clean and comfortable. Very cozy courtyard.

I liked the friendliness of Ruslan - I felt more like I met a new friend, rather than a customer, which was very nice. His family was very kind, and the inner yard is really charming. The rooms are renovated, and both bed and hot water were excellent. He was a great person to meet and talk to. He organized also a tour just for me. Dinners and breakfasts were also tasty. I honestly have no complaint. Also, the guest house is located extremely close to the main touristic attractions of Nurota.

Ruslan, his wife and his parents are great, they all work in the guest house. They cooked us the most delicious meals we had during our stay in Uzbekistan. The room was cozy with a comfortable bed and well heated. They have a nice hamam with their shower room, we really enjoyed that. We took 2 trips with Ruslan, they were fantastic.

Ruslan is very friendly, he organized taxi from Samarkand, the hiking trips and taxi to Bukhara. The food is exceptional, really good home made, traditional. You cannot find that in restaurant.
