“We started our journey to Uzbekistan by landing in Samarkand and it was Farxod, the hotel owner, who came in the middle of the night, picked us up from the airport, took us to the warm and cozy hotel room and gave us hot tea on our arrival. His gestures made us fall in love with the country right away. Farxod made breakfast himself for us and it was amazing. The house is more than a 100 years old with a typical Uzbek architecture and it feels like being home. It is walking distance from the Registan and ultimately near all the main attractions of the city. in Hotel Han, we were guided spot on about things and were also provided with a guide to show us around. In this tour, we were lucky not once, but twice - to get a chance to stay here. This place is highly recommended! PS: The owner makes AMAZING Plov.”

“Very nice host family, really felt like a welcoming homestay. At night they left for their own house which gave us some privacy. The breakfast was prepared with love and was very good &much. The location is very good, right next to the main attraction. Heating and warm water worked well.”

“The owner was super friendly and always ready to help. The location is literally a 5 minute walk to Registon Square. It is a house rebuild into a hotel so there are multiple rooms next to eachother but everybody was friendly and quiet. The bathroom was very new and clean.”

“It's a small family hotel in the heart of the old city - you can walk to the Registan square just in 5 min! The place itself is hidden in the small streets of Samarkand (which is attraction on their own) and it doesn't get noisy in the night. The room is neat, clean and all facilities works as they should. There are couple of local restaurants near the hotel, they aren't looking fancy, but worth the try, just ask the owner.”
