The Green Iguana Hotel is located on a hillside just above Town. The Safari route is a short walk down the Historic 99 Steps to the Waterfront Road. You may access several beaches using the Safari transportation or Water Taxi from the Waterfront.

We do offer airport to hotel (and hotel to airport) taxi service for an additional charge. Airport pick ups should be arranged 48 hours in advance, transportation to the airport for early morning flights are arranged the night before.

We are in the Town area, Charlotte Amalie. The Crown Bay to Cruz Bay Ferry is about 10 minutes by car or 45 minutes to walk mostly flat ground. The Red Hook to Cruz Bay Ferry is about 25 minutes by car. It's not walkable. Thank you for asking!

We can HELP with ground transportation for you, however we do not provide a free service. There are SEVERAL restaurants within a 10 minute walk , a quick walk east or west along the Charlotte Amalie waterfront will open more dining options for you.

Taxi Service from the airport is available for $10 per person. Just tell us your complete flight info for arrivals at least 48 hours in advance. For departures we can schedule your pick up time at check in.

Any of the queen bed rooms are great for solo travelers. The weather is amazing then, balconies are great for outdoor seating, or if you prefer to enjoy the view through windows, you may do that to. H1 and A6 are great for single travelers.

As someone who is also allergy to many fragrances, we do our best to remain allergy free in the rooms, only using fragrance free laundry products, including baking soda and vinegar as part of our routine.

We do not provide airport transfers however we can order a taxi service to meet you at the airport. The rate is about the same as airport shuttles. We are happy to discuss details with you.

The Blyden Ferry Terminal is about 1 mile from the hotel, a taxi will take about 5 minutes to get there. The taxi rate is usually $5-$8 per person, including charges for your luggage. We can help with scheduling the taxi service.

What room number are we talking about? We have three rooms with king beds, 2 have balconies. Rooms With King Bed/Balcony are Rooms H2 and A4. Room A5 is a king bed no balcony.
