I only stayed Saturday night for the Sunday market but wish I’d stayed Friday night too to see the buffalo market on Saturday morning. Get up early (~6am) and go to the market while it’s bustling with locals rather than waiting until the tourist buses arrive (from ~9am). Quan Binh Phuong does good chicken pho for 30,000 VND

Very clean and orderly town with tree lined streets and little traffic. We drove a motorbike around the area. Our main intention was to visit the Sunday market. Was very good. Good fresh locally grown fruit awailable in the daily market.

The homestay is really nice, every single detail is pretty and neat. Din is the kindest and most joyful person I’ve met during my stay in Vietnam. She takes care of her customers in a natural and discreet way. I definitely recommend this place for alone travelers, but also for families and groups of friends.

Lakeview is in a great central location but out of the hustle and bustle and a quick walk to the weekly Sunday market. It is on the lake which is a pleasant loop walk. Perfect location. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. They are happy to book transport for you and help in any way. We ate with the family twice for an affordable price and the food was delicious We stayed in the dormitory style curtained accomodation with lake views. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The sleeping area had fresh white sheets and a fan with a new mosquito net to use if required. There were also private rooms available. I would stay there again.
