Great location in the old town of Hanoi and the staff we exceptionally helpful in booking tours. We arranged a street food tour and ha giang loop trip through the hotel. Rooms also very comfortable and clean.

This hotel was a gem! Really nice, small and cozy hotel with very friendly and informative staff. We stayed in the family room as we liked the idea of a terrace and it was great! There is a train stop in front, but it didn't bother us at all, it was actually fun to watch the trains pass by. Noise was minor. The rooms look exactly like in the pictures, beds in the family room were huge. The location of the hotel was great, there were many things to do and see within walking distance. It was definitely the best hotel on our Vietnam trip.

The hotel is great value in a central location. It’s a bit hidden in a local market which cuts down on street noise. The room had strong a/c and rainfall shower. There’s a book exchange in the lobby. The staff made the difference here. They’re very helpful with answering questions, giving recommendations, arranging tours/transfers, learn your name right away, etc.

La Cascada was really a joy to stay in. Initial surprise of unloading from the airport shuttle at the intersection, vehicles are prohibited on the street. The real joy was being immediately immersed in the daily life of Hanoi. Each direction in the alley leads to delicious foods or fun markets. The staff was next level in their commitment to welcome us and provide assistance as we move around Hanoi.

We had an amazing 8 night stay here! Family of four, plenty of room! We booked 6 on the front end of our stay and thought we’d find a different place for our final two nights on the backend (after trips to Halong Bay and Sapa). We enjoyed our stay here so much we returned. Great location (can walk to everything), very clean, and super friendly staff. The bathroom facilities were great and beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the authenticity of the area and felt very safe walking around.
