The room, facility, and location were great but it’s the staff that makes this hotel exceptional. Ms Na and Chester immediately learned our names, greeting us every time and ensuring we were pleased.

My room was lovely with a great bed, great TV, free standing bath tub and a nice balcony. The spa is good and reasonably priced for a luxury hotel. A great plus for anyone arriving after a long flight or a lot of traveling. The location is perfect. The old town is at your feet and the lake steps away. The lake is vibrant with all sorts of activities going on day and night. The Thang Long water puppet theater is minutes away and shouldn't be missed. Everywhere else is easy to get to via Grab for a very reasonable price. The rooftop bar/restaurant and pool is great. The staff is terrific and it's a great place to unwind after a fun (but hot) day in Hanoi.

Spacious suite with a comfortable four-poster bed, great view from the balcony, and another great view from the large bathtub! Overall an excellently designed suite and we would be excited to book the same room again in the future. The rooftop "Skyline" bar and restaurant had fantastic food to match the city views. The cocktails were also incredibly tasty. While the price is higher than Hanoi and Vietnam as a whole, it's still lower than London, and the food was worth it. Staff across the board were fantastic. Having stayed in one other chain in Vietnam (who actually have a place next door to Tirant) where the staff were abysmal and depressing, it was so refreshing to be able to communicate and appreciate a more personable service. It felt like staff had a lot of knowledge and were happy to share. Everyone was lovely and it made our last couple days in Vietnam very positive.

Great location to old town Hanoi. Breakfast was very satisfying. It could get very busy, but Chester (staff) sat us in a quiet room to enjoy the city view, which was very nice. Overall, the staff were welcoming and very helpful with finding activities in the local area. Don, the manager, went out of his way to help us ammend a reservation and secured two tickets to a sold out water puppet show in the evening (highly recommend this attraction and it's very close to the hotel).

In an excellent convenient location in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a lot of activities. The best part of the entire place was the staff. The concierge that I worked with (Ms. Na) was a shining star during my stay—coming into a new country and being overwhelmed by a new culture and the Hanoi traffic, Ms. Na made made me feel right at home. Every time I ran into her during my stay I always felt welcomed and taken care of. She also provided a wonderful recommendations. In addition to Ms. Na, the staff working during breakfast was always alert, considerate and wonderful. This staff was up there with some of my favorite hotels. Very grateful for their hospitality.
