Phan Rang is extremely quiet with very limited choice of eating places / bars. Some parts are very well planted and maintained but other areas are dirty and run down. The beaches are long and could be beautiful to bathe on,but there is nothing set of for bathing (lounges / shaded area / umbrellas). The location of this apartment is out of the main town and in a suburb that is being developed so there isn't too much there just yet. The beaches are close by and lovely. Plenty of wind and kite surfing activities. If you have your own transport then there is plenty to explore, otherwise it is difficult.

Phan Rang has nice scenery. There were many places that the mountains and scenery felt like I was home in southern California. That made it a little unexciting for me, however it is well worth the trip. The sand dunes are a small area but interesting. As seems common in Vietnam, the trash did rob from the beauty.

We (family of 3) had initially booked a small bungalow, but we were offered a larger room in a duplex for the same price, which was a great offer. The restaurant had a very extensive breakfast menu (Vietnamese and Western cuisine). Unfortunately the waves were too high to swim in the sea, but there were several pools in the complex. The big slide in the pool, which you can see in the pictures, was for ages 14 and up, which was a big disappointment for our 8 year old.AveEstonia
