Unfortunately, this homestay burned down on August 28, 2020. The homestay, as well as the owner's house, her uncle's house and her parent's house were all destroyed. The owner is a sweetheart so if you're in the area, drop by and give her a donation to help her rebuild.

I loved that the property was in Hmong style. It was a very authentic experience! It was really cold when we went so I plan to be back in September to experience a hotter season in Sapa. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable! We also were able to do a trek with a sweet Hmong girl who gave me a hug as soon as we met! Loved her. Also got to meet a few of her kids on the trek which was a treat. Also loved the view at this place. Though there were many people, it was still somehow very peaceful :) Thank you Surelee for all your help!!

Sure lee is a strong independent young woman with a love and passion like I’ve never seen before. She has a beautiful story, and she goes above and beyond for all of her guests. If you have the chance to stay in sapa please go the extra little ways to Hmong and spend your time in the village. I will be travelling in S.E.A. For another 4 months and I think I’ve already had one of the biggest highlights of my trip. With amazing food, and amazing views you can’t go wrong with this place. I stayed at her Homestay for 2 nights and wish I could’ve stayed longer, except she was fully booked for the 3rd night. She’s currently working hard to build another house to accommodate all the guests that come through here. Thank you for some wonderful memories and new friends. I plan on coming back and staying here In the future!!

We were welcomed with open arms from the moment we arrived. Surelee is kind, thoughtful, and works tirelessly to make you comfortable during your stay. When here, you are staying at their home, alongside the family. What better way to experience the culture!? By the end of our third night we felt like part of the family and were treated as such. The food and drinks were great, at a good price point. We took a 6 hour hike with Surelee’s mother one day that was informative and memorable. The whole family is fantastic! If you want a true Hmong experience with a real Hmong family, stay here. There are many places in the area that offer this, but Surelee’s Homestay is legit! Memories were made that will travel with us forever...
