This is a perfect spot for those who are going to Yasur volcano. The bungalow is located up on the hill, and we could see and hear the volcano at night. Very exciting! Getting there was also great experience for us as we were driving through the jungles. Early in the morning, Mike took us to the volcano so we could see it at night and at sunrise. That was amazing!

The tree house is really beautiful and has a fully functional toilet. The view of the volcano is lovely and you can watch it glow at night. Mike and his family were very kind and helpful. I had a wonderful time taking a scenic walk through the jungle to get to the volcano entrance.

Mike and his family are very friendly and helpful! The accommodation is in the middle of the jungle so don't expect anything fancy, but still there was a toilet and shower in the room which is nice. Food is locally prepared, very healthy and tasty. The tours were very nice, we went to the volcano and custom villages which was very nice! It's a bit expensive (because everything is so remote) so make sure to check prices upfront with Mike so that you know how much cash to bring. Also beautiful environment and nice to go for a walk. Mike is also very responsive to messages which is much appreciated

While the property offers basic accommodation and facilities it is the most amazing place to stay. Lying in bed and being able to see the volcano was a once in a life time experience. Mike and his family were most welcoming and the meals they provided were tasty and healthy. All tours offered by Mike are well worth the money. The Ni-Vanuatu people and friendly and genuine. A couple of suggestions would be to take your own torch with rechargeable batteries. A light jacket for the coolness of the volcano and a power pack for your phone recharge. One last thing don't forget that while on the island you will need cash to pay for tours and and your accommodation. Tanna Island needs to be on everyones bucket list and the Castle Tree House is the place to stay for a back to basics experience.

The views are just AMAZING. Food was pretty simple and basic but tasty and good portions. You really feel how isolated and remote these people live. Family can be a bit shy at the beginning. Everything is very simple but it is such a nice experience at the same time.
