The dinner was my favorite meal I had in Samoa, and Lua took the time to explain the taro recipe. I felt very welcomed and at home here. I wish I could have stayed another day or two.

We liked everything about our stay at Tailua Fales, we were so well looked after, it almost felt like being at home. We were served breakfast and dinner each day which was all prepared and cooked for us from local ingredients, everything we ate was delicious. The location was incredible, going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the ocean each day was the best. The facilities were simple, but its everything you need for a comfortable stay, we didnt even mind the cold showers. Wish we had stayed longer

Lots of turtles swimming in the area, turquoise water, great food and lovely host and the beds were actual beds rather than the usual mattress in Fales. Also PowerPoint in fale was helpful

I loved the staff working at Tailua Beach fales. They made you feel like you were part of the family and Lua’s cooking is fresh and plentiful The snorkelling is at the doorstep where the turtles are a highlight. It is very peaceful at night and the beds are raised off the floor with a foam mattress. This is Fale style accomodation where community is important and I always found the other guests open and friendly in this atmosphere. Itty?sp was very helpful. He has a sense of fun and helped run the weekly progressive beach party in conjunction with 2 neighbouring accomodation businesses. This is a very family friendly place to stay with kids though.

Our hostess, Lua, was so kind and welcoming, and is an amazing cook! Beautiful fale was plenty big for two people and had a raised bed, which was nice (as often in Samoa they're on the floor).

The fales have incredible views and are comfortable. Sleeping to the sound of the waves was a highlight. The most special thing about this place though, is Lua... her cooking, smile and big heart! While sharing Luas meals, many friendships were made.
