Gordon's Bay is a small picturesque seaside town on the eastern side of False Bay. The old village is charming and full of character with the center point being the Old Harbour with its bustling boats and luxury yachts. Restaurants, pubs, and white sandy beaches are all within walking distance, as well as a unique book shop and shell shop, and the famous Uncle Barry's ice cream parlor. A short boat ride or a 3km drive takes you to the new blue flag Harbour Island Estate with mariner's wharf with more restaurants and the 4 star Krystal beach hotel. World-renowned wine estates and golf courses are a short drive away and it's a 35-minute drive to Cape Town International Airport. The 21km scenic coastal Clarence drive from Gordon's Bay to Rooi-Els is breathtaking with lots of lovely stops along the way and is the gateway to the whale haven of Hermanus.
