Amis pour la vie (Trading as) Harbour View Lodge is poised on the slopes of the Hottentots Holland Mountain range, overlooking magnificent False Bay, the largest bay in Africa. The view stretches from Cape Point, Simons Town, Table Mountain to beyond the harbour at Gordons Bay to the road leading to Hermanus along the coast. Experience the most incredible sunsets from your private balcony. The Lodge offers five luxury bedrooms. Queen size beds in all the rooms except for the Dorm which has a tribunk....All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, some rooms have private balconies and spectacular sea view overlooking the whole of False Bay and Table Mountain. Rooms are fully equipped with DSTV, tea/coffee trays, fridges, ceiling fan, bathroom toiletries & towels. ADSL / broadband wireless internet access. We are only 2 minutes from the popular and secluded Bikini Beach and 5 to 10 minutes from other larger beaches. There are picturesque coastal walks and mountain hikes. Gordon’s Bay is a harbour town with excellent beaches, which lies against the Helderberg. When traveling towards Kleinmond from here you pass by some of the most amazing little towns each with a story. Gordon’s Bay,is about 45 minutes’ drive away from Cape Town, is named after Robert Jacob Gordon, a Dutch colonel, explorer and acting governor of the Cape. A visitor’s paradise, the town boasts long Blue Flag status beaches and a good climate. Along the beachfront lies a stretch of pubs, cafés, shopping malls and restaurants, where visitors can enjoy a variety of meals or just relax and watch the sun set. Apart from bustling beach life, visitors can also enjoy the nearby Helderberg wine route, with over 25 wineries and cellars. If you are looking for some quiet time with nature then the Nederburg Nature Reserve is the place to be. The Steenbras River Gorge Hiking Trail is suited to energetic people. From the Steenbras Dam there are views over False Bay.
