Shindzela far exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful and much more of a glamping experience than a camp. The communal dining spaces are beautiful especially the candlelit dinners under the stars. The food was exceptional. Our safari guides Sam and Edward were extremely knowledgeable and we had the closest animal encounters on our Shindzela safaris. Watching the elephants visiting the river bed each day at the campsite is so magical! Would highly recommend Shindzela to anyone wanting an immersive safari experience that is still comfortable and amazing value.

This place was everything we imagined and hoped it would be! You get what you pay for in the best possible way at Motswari. We celebrated our honeymoon here for 3 nights and even despite rain in winter- they made it the best experience. The staff were incredible and this place operates like a well oiled machine. Our guide Meghan and tracker lot helped us see ALL the animals we wanted on our game drives. I was able to book a relaxing massage on a rainy day. They also helped us arrange a hotel transport from Hoedspruit. They do have their own airstrip so I think we would look into that next time. I would love to come back- the timbavati private nature reserve was excellent for viewing animals! Highly recommend to anyone wanting an inclusive safari adventure!!!

This was our first safari experience and Geiger’s made it unforgettable. Our stay was magical. We saw so many animals including the big 5 and wild dogs. Every game drive we saw something new. Our room at Camp was big and nice and the hotel has a nice African safari feel and decor. It’s only 4 rooms which creates a nice intimate feel where you get to know the other people on safari with you.

there is nothing not to like about Makumu. I cannot even put to words how amazing the resort was, as well as the quality of the staff. Kitchen, housekeeping, rangers, spotters, everyone was beyond accomodating and kind. there are 1000 places to stay to do a safari in the Kruger area and we feel SO lucky we found Makumu. It is luxury and quality and you will get an authentic safari experience. we left feeling so sad, as the staff started to feel like family. Truly look no further for a place to stay for incredible views, perfect hospitality, and an authentic safari experience. we will be back!!
