De Villas Guesthouse and camping site is situated on a small holding 2km outside Ermelo. The premises is engulfed in a huge garden with massive trees and open spaces. The facilities consist of two rondawels (chalets), a house of six budget rooms (all en-suite) and a camping ground beneath the trees. The property is next to the N2 national road from Gauteng to Richard's Bay and Swaziland.
We, Willem and Loraine, are married around 40 years now. Both of us were born in this town, Ermelo. We have started this guesthouse in 2003.
Ermelo is a town crossed by various national roads, a stop-over for many travelers. The town serves as a local mining hub, agricultural and administrative centre. Across the road of the guesthouse is a township, for tourists who might be interested in the real African lifestyle.
