Load shedding a bit of an issue, but they try to compensate with their generator.

Wow we can’t say enough. Gorgeous lodge, the game drives were amazing- after chatting with other game drivers— it’s apparent that lovemoore is the BEST!

This place was so cute, so clean and so quiet. The staff was unbelievable. They really made the experience so much better than other lodge/tent sites. The tents were spaced far enough apart to where you felt you had privacy. All basic cooking utensils were provided. The cleaning crew came through and cleaned our site for a small R100 fee which was so worth it. If you needed ice or fire wood they would deliver it to your tent. They had a small store which had any other necessities you could need. Even meats, alcohol, toiletries and candy. The game drive was amazing, we were able to see Rhinos and elephants which was awesome. The rhinos even came close enough to our car that I could almost touch them. The grounds were beautifully groomed and the overall feel of the facility felt like I was in the bush. Which is such a pleasure. The price was so fair and everything was top notch. The only reason I am not giving 10 stars is because we were only allowed to tour the East and south side of the reserve, but we were told majority of the animals were on the north side. Other than that it was spectacular. We WILL be back

Well-configured for a family, very good value, immersed in the bush but close to a main road in the reserve, helpful caretakers and owner, comfortable beds.

The restaurants in other lodges are not too far and they offer a superb service at Kwalata's Kudu restaurant. The meat was cooked to perfection as per our orders. The shopping mall could use an upgrade, we had to drive out of the game reserve to get more decent shops. All in all, the stay was worth it and it was not too far from where we stay in Pretoria.

Unit was very clean and well equipped.
The smoke smell is very strong in the tent, come dinner time the neighbor's smoke just kept blowing into our tent.
Can be noisy, was kept awake by crying child from next door tent.
If you don't mind the smoke and noise then this shouldn't be a problem.
I understand the owner wants people to stop at the gate, but don't crap on people after just arriving. At least first explain the reasoning and importance and then crap on the people that are supporting your business. This was very off putting.

We enjoyed the stay very much. We were there for the first time and will definitely going back again in the future. The staff was very friendly and enjoy talking to them. We had breakfast in the "Doring in die Bos" and Gerald treat us nicely and present the food very well. Yes it was easy to move around Klipdrift just be very careful for the thorns.

The trip was wonderful and the area is just the perfect distance for a nice bush break without having to drive to the other side of the world! I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to get away and see animals and just GET AWAY from the hustle and bustle!

Loved our long weekend there!
Loved our long weekend there! We stayed at Ritsako Lodge, breakfast included. The room was beautiful, spanking clean and very comfortable. Their breakfast was great but the dinner menu was a little limited. However we had a fantastic dinner at Kingfisher restaurant. Lovely setting and excellent food. Altogether a very enjoyable stay! We did not see any of the big five but we saw beautiful kudu, waterbuck, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and the head of a hippo coming up for air. We also spotted a leguan and some jackal.
