Very friendly helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely courtyards with comfortable seating. Delicious breakfast with home baked bread. Evening meal very tasty. Even made a special meal for our 4 year old grandson. Two swimming pools and plunge pool. We swam every day. Lovely and peaceful. Very close to Addo Reserve. I would whole heartedly recommend the Elephant House. You cannot do better!

This is the second time stayed at this hotel. This time we didn’t stay in the main house and the room was huge with a very large terrace overlooking lawns and a pool. It was very peaceful. The hotel wasn’t doing food in the evening but prepared us a lovely cheese board and then a chicken salad on the second night. We had plenty of wine and as it was a beautiful setting didn’t feel the need to go out. The safari was really good with a very knowledgeable guide

The service was wonderful. It started with a very simple check in, a free welcome drink. The 3-course dinner was good and the breakfast buffet incl omelette and fresh fruit was very tasty. We loved the many, idyllic places where you can retire. We were allowed to attend an African dance, which had brought us a lot of joy. Also the organization of both Safaris was well done.
