Wow! Jock Safari Lodge is simply an incredible place to visit in an incredible part of the world. Although we managed to see all manner of animals on our safari drives (including the rare and elusive Cheetahs!), it was the staff that made the trip the most memorable we’ve ever had. Every one of the staff at the lodge were incredibly friendly and personable and went above and beyond in delivering great service. Special shout out to Thabo, Mamsie, Precious and of course our wonderful game driver Jacob. We really couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The food and drink offering was extremely generous (huge breakfast, 3 course lunch, afternoon tea and 3 course dinner), as were the drinks. We experienced dinner on the dried riverbed too, which was great. Guest interaction was great too, without being too much. Jock have got it down to a fine art. The best place we’ve ever stayed. Thank you Jock Safari Lodge!

Stunning location on a dry river bed. Loved the rustic bush feeling and experience. We stayed at The Fitzpatrick House. Everything was included and we had our own game viewing vehicle with game ranger. We travelled with our three small children. Incredibly child friendly! Kids were taken out during day with our game ranger on a educational ranger exploration day. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful catering to our every need. They were also provided activity packs and gifts on arrival. All kids meals were catered for by own personal chef.

excellent staff, warm, friendly and inviting. fantastic location within the Kruger National park with private concession roads 😊

The rooms were very private, you didn’t know anyone else was staying there. Plunge pool, day bed overlooking the dry river bed which they made up for us to sleep out one night which was a great experience.

Everything was fantastic. Staff Location great. Food Drive experiences and land and views amazing. Room overlooking river bed and our total personal space was wow. And jocks work on anti poaching is something to be very proud of. One massive 5*

We were really unlucky with the weather. As we told our game drive ranger Jan that we were primarily on the lookout for the cats, he said he would give it his best but also informed us that the rainy, cold weather puts us in a bad position to do so. However, not only were we able to see three lions laying right next to our car, but even more amazingly, he was able to show us three leopards the next day. The photos were amazing because he always made sure that we were in the best position to take them. Back in the dining room, the staff was really nice to us and the selection of food was also just amazing. As we are definitely planning on coming back, we asked the manager to have a look at the separate Fitzpatricks Villa. Because there was no one in it at the time, our Guide gave us a private tour of the property right before we left this beautiful lodge.

By far the best place to do game drives. Saw all big 5 within first 2 game drives. Our guide Micah was exceptional. Really romantic place to stay, great food, great facilities. Can't recommend Jock's enough!

One could not ask for a better location in the game reserve. The staff were without exception wonderful. Friendly, helpful and just a delight. The game drives were a highlight and our ranger was the best. His knowledge and stories made the experience so much more than just a drive in the bush. The food was good and ample. We can highly recommend the venue and would love to go back one day.

I loved everything about Jock Safari lodge. The place, the room, the staff, the service, the food! The game drives were amazing. A big thanks to my rangers Jan and Jacob! And to all the staff, thank you!

Everything os perfect. All details are Just made to amuse you. The safari are perfect and rangers really dedicated tô make our experience unique.
