Loved the fact that the accommodation or at least where we stayed is not even a km off the main road. However, it could help with the flow and control of traffic with so many trucks to have traffic lights at certain points in town.

We used as a stopover en route to Sodwana. In future, since we know what all there is to offer at this bed and breakfast, will try to arrive earlier to enjoy the amenities. Really well treated by all friendly and very efficient staff, lovely accommodation, breakfast was amazing.

As we travelled from Kosi Bay to Pretoria, Pongola was selected as a stop-over destination and the road to Pongola was perfect. Pongola is definitely not a place I will overnight again.
Pongola is definitely not a place I will overnight again. The town is polluted and dodgy and there are no restaurants except a dirty little Wimpy at a quick shop, which had beer bottles hidden in the jungle gym that apparently doubles as a public toilet, judging by the smell.

Super vacation - also for non Horse Riders. Service and choice of food, wine and other drinks are top-class. Personal attention from the owners and attentative staff made this holiday one of the best ever. Big, clean rooms with breathtaking views in the middle of the african bush. Hope to go back sometime.
