Today, it is a memorable combination of the brutality of the apartheid system. The ferries depart from the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V & A Waterfront. The tour takes 3.5 hours including the ferry trip to and from the Island. • V&A Waterfront - is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Africa. Located on the edge of the city’s busy harbour, the V&A offers a wide range of shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
