OppiPlasie Guest House & OppiPlaas Farming are both products of our brand, OppiPlaas Products & Services. OppiPlasie Guest House was established in December 2020, after much ruin that lockdown provided the farm. The farm was utilised as a "layer farm", supplying the local community with fresh chicken eggs. Later on, the farm turned to broiler chickens, and ultimately became, what is today, OppiPlasie Guest House.

ECO FRIENDLY & OFF THE GRID OppiPlasie Guest House offers a rustic & peaceful bushveld farm stay for a quick breakaway from the city to reflect & recharge! We run on Solar Energy & get our water from a natural water source located on the farm. Approximately 25km outside Brits on the Thabazimbi road, we're in the bushveld, surrounded by lush greenery in summer, and a typical dried bushveld in winter. We proudly offer 3 Farm-style rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Each room features something different: FOUNTAIN VIEW: A beautiful view of the stoep, front garden, fountain, geese & bushveld. The en-suite bathroom features a shower & complimentary amenities. LITTLE GARDEN: More private than the rest, featuring it's own little rustic garden in a private little corner of the property. The en-suite bathroom also features a shower with complimentary amenities. RAGNAR: The upstairs bedroom features an en-suite bathroom, with a beautiful open-room slipper bath set in Viking-like style, with wooden floors and a thatch roof. We have a lounge in the main house upstairs with a TV connected to streaming services, a pool table and several board games. In the garden you can relax in several chilling areas. The main house is mostly open plan in design, but you can be rest assured to have a great stay! A review by Mr Francois Oostuizen: "I arrived at OppiPlaas on a hot afternoon. This beautiful homestead, a thatched abode set amongst the dense green bushveld was very welcoming. I parked my vehicle on prestigious green lawns with two staffordshire terriers welcoming me. The hosts offered me an ice cold beer, and the scene was set for an amazing two days. The burning camp fire on both evenings provided the perfect spot to learn more about this special oasis and life in the North West Province. I fell asleep every night to the peace and quietness of the bush. Their attention to detail and making my stay great was of unpretentious effort".

A lot of Dangerous Game Viewing lodges in the area and close to various home made gin and beer tastings in Hartbeespoort area. Our dearest & close friends at Africa Wild Cats offer unique guided tours through dangerous animal enclosures. They also welcome picnics, braais and splash pool visits!
