An exceptional location with magnificent views, experiences and staff. You really feel like you’re visiting a long term friend’s house when you’re here, but you’re meeting some other friends (guests) too! The pool is exceptional, the food was incredible, the game drives were always more than expected!

Sausage Tree Safari Camp is situated in the Olifant's west nature reserve in the Greater Kruger Park area. The camps features a deck with outdoor pool, offering views of the African bush and an active water hole. The camp features African-style tents. Each comes with a wooden deck, air conditioning and en-suite bathroom with a bath and outdoor shower. They overlook a dry river bed, the bush and the Northern Drakensberg Mountains. Breakfast and lunch are served on the deck and dinner is mostly served around the fire at the traditional boma. There is also a well-stocked bar The nature reserve stretches over 40 000 hectares. Sausage Tree Safari Camp offers 2 guided game drives per stay in an open safari vehicle. we do have 3 hours game drives twice a day One game drive takes place in the morning and the second one leaves in the late afternoon and includes afternoon snacks. Hoedspruit Airport is a 40-minute drive from the camp. We provide of all meals or 3 meals per day. Exluded are bathering, concervations levis and stuff tipping.

He is a fluent French speaker and is competent in Spanish and Portuguese . His familiarity with the Kruger National Park has established him as an excellent area field guide. Birdwatchers will enjoy James’s patience and knowledge in this respect. Sonja a well known figure in the local area having been involved in the safari industry around Hoedspruit for very many years. Her talents in the kitchen and her dedication to guest comfort ensures that our lodge team are fully trained to the highest level, making sure your stay is a special one that you will remember long after you leave. Her eye for décor created a camp that is both eclectic and elegant, a fusion of colours and design, blending African modern with traditional style to a soothing effect. Sonja is a fluent Dutch speaker.
